Cameron William Simmons (born February 26, 2002), known professionally as Kashkeni (stylized as KA$HKENI or KA$HK3NI), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He rose popularity in 2020 underground hip-hop scene with the single "Playin 20", a collaboration with American rapper ColanXP, which went viral on main platforms such as soundcloud. He later gained experience with other additional artists like Ka$hdami and signed to Capture Records.
Early life[]
Cameron William Simmons was born on February 26, 2002, in Columbus, Georgia, to see his Jamaican grandparents and later entered school with other siblings. Simmons started rapping in 2020 after his grandpa died due to cancer, about sharing emotions. Simmons and his grandma moved to Acworth, Georgia with circumstances, while he began to be a closer family.
Career[]
Beginnings and breakthrough (2020-present)[]
Kashkeni would began rapping in 2020 and first rose prominence with the single "Hello", which became popularity on platforms mainly such as soundcloud[1]. On January 16, 2020, the track was allegedly removed after sexual comments about female's buttocks, which might initially with his breakout single "Playin 20" and included with the underground hip-hop scene, the track was collaborated with American rapper ColanXP. The track was removed again after hate comments by his friend Yvngxcoco[2]. On June 29, 2021, His followed up single "Come In" was featured with MarckWithDat and went viral on YouTube. Which primarily resulted. On July 10, 2021, Kashkeni released his debut album "ColanderRomani” which it was featured with 2 tracks[3]. On August 24, 2021, Kashkeni announced his album "Jaultier", included with two singles "Sense" and "$umn$and[4][5], featured with 5 tracks.
On September 27, 2021, Kashkeni then released his mixtapes such as ”KashWorld", which it was began featured with 10 tracks, including a collaborator to yvngxcoco. He released "Skypeline" featured with 19 tracks.
