Jayson Brown better known by his stage name jaysnbrwn (or often stylized as JAYSNBRWN),[1] is an Australian DJ, songwriter, record producer, creative director and record executive. He is mostly known for his career as a disc jockey who plays music across all genres, in particular hip-hop, R&B and afrobeat.[2] He has collaborated with a variety of artists across different genres, including B-Nasty, Bangs, Gerald Walker, Tyler Rivers and Donell Lewis.[3]

Career[]

In December 2015, Brown executively produced the debut album “The End of the Beginning” by Australian rapper B-Nasty​. The album featured Gerald Walker​, Bangs and many other local and international Artists.[4][5]​ Over the years Brown has worked closly with B-Nasty​, he co-wrote "Circle Back", the song was featured on Wu-Tang Clan affiliate DJ Symphony's Wu-Invasion Mixtape Series: World Edition Volume 1 hosted by Ghostface Killah​ of the Wu-Tang Clan. The mixtape was released in 2018.[6]​ In 2018, Brown supported American R&B artist August Alsina​ on his Don't Matter Tour.[7][8]​ In the same year, he also became an Official Culture Kings DJ.[9]​ Throughout 2018 leading into 2019, Brown co-wrote "Young & Naive" by Australian singer Tyler Rivers which was distributed by Warner Music Australia.[10]​ Later that year Brown was also made an official ARIA​ Club Chart DJ.[11]

Brown teamed up with Australian rapper B-Nasty​ to co-found their own record label, Dough Related Productions.[12]
